Sav Day 22

As y’all may or may not know I sold my car! I just assumed I could buy a bike when I got down here, and it wouldn’t be a problem. Well I was wrong, I guess it’s a pretty popular thing right now to sell your car, and because of the Pandemic more people are outside and biking. Which in reality, that is actually fantastic. More people getting active is always something I can get on board with, even if that means its hard for me to find a bike at the local bike shop. New road bikes are not arriving till sometime early 2021 (ish). I am actively hunting for a used one online, and by “I am actively hunting” I mean I have yet to even look and Leo is helping me by searching. He found one on Facebook marketplace for himself and now is making sure I get one as well.

But in the spirit of supporting local, Leo got his bike tuned up at Perry Rubber Bike Shop in downtown Savannah. Not only do they sell bikes, parts, accessories, clothes, shoes, car racks, and wheels but they are extremely knowledgable and kind. They are heavily involved in the bike community, and practice what they preach. Even though I cannot currently get a bike in my size there, they have bent over backwards to help me, and I will absolutely be going there for my future tune up and help.
