Sav Day 29

Another very short walk from our apartment is a sliders place with the very appropriate name of Sly’s. Leo has had everything on their menu, and I hadn’t been yet, so after working till 8 pm and really not feeling like cooking this was the perfect solution for dinner. Something super cool about this place is that their vegetarian options aren’t just a frozen veggie patty that they microwave. Check out all of their sliders:

Fried Chicken Breast, Bacon, Swiss, House-made Ranch, Lettuce and Tomato

  • THE GREAT SALMON CAPER

Grilled Salmon, Spinach, Fried Capers, Herb Mayo, Lemon Vinaigrette

  • THE MR. CHOW

Fried Egg, Extra Bacon, American Cheese, Dijon Tiger Sauce

  • THE BOARDWALK

Beef Patty, Ketchup, Mustard, American Cheese, Bacon, Dill Pickles

  • THE UNCLE RUEBEN

Thin Sliced Corned Beef, Sauerkraut, Russian Dressing, Swiss Cheese

  • THE SHROOMWICH

Marinated Portabello, Shitake and Oyster Mushrooms, Swiss Cheese, Herb Mayo

  • LIL SANDY

BBQ Pulled Pork and BBQ Sauce, Slaw, Tobacco Onions

  • PAIN DONT HURT

Roadhouse Style Smoked Brisket, Smoked Jalapeno BBQ Sauce, Fried Onion Straws, Pepper Jack Cheese

They also have a selection of leveled up hotdogs if that is your thing, not personally my jam, However, I am aware most people do like them! And of course the best part of any slider is a side of crisp French fries. No toppings for me, just ketchup, but Leo did say they Sandfly (best bbq in Savannah) pulled pork topped fries are amazing.

Short and sweet, it was awesome. We sat outside with our doggo and ate a quick and yummy dinner. I would absolutely go back! I mean what’s not to like, artisanal sliders and fresh fries? Yes please x10.
